Sky Vega is a singer, song-writer, producer and musician.
Born and raised in South Africa, she bears Greek citizenship, but is now based out of New York City.
Her first single "Special" from her debut album "The Dawn Of A New Era" was released in 2009 which has since been
play-listed on AIR 104.4 FM, an affiliate of the BBC and other European Union radio stations. Several tracks have since been
playlisted on 96.9 Loutraki FM and "Special" is also on New Yorks hit music radio station Z100 (Discover & Uncover.) along
with her follow-up single "I Will Not Die"

She has worked with
respected Greek producer Kostas Kalimeris of Universal Records, French label Holy Records and Greek label Sleezey Rider Records
as a recording artist and has a couple of collaboration album credits in Europe under her belt.
Since relocating to New York, she has been making music independently out of her home studio and performing her originals
live with her rock act, "The Sky Band." (www.reverbnation.com/theskyband), who often collaborate with various organizations
for creative functions and charity benefits.
Additionally, Sky has performed at the well-regarded and nationally televised
"European Rock Festival" at Lekavitos stadium in Greece, where she was the only female performer selected to participate from
50 European countries with artists such as Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night.
Locally Sky has performed
at the Goombay Festival in Miami in 2004 with artists such as Cee-lo on the bill. In early 2005 she was invited on stage to
jam with the Black Eyed Peas at one of South Beaches’ hot spots for an MTV show and later that year Sky performed alongside
White Lion and EnuffZNuff.
Sky has been featured in many publications such as MusiciansOnly.net (Cover
and feature article), New York’s urban publication 'IMT Styles Magazine' (Ones to watch Issue 5/Volume 1), and South
Florida’s 'What’s Hot Magazine' (Rockin' Lauderdale Issue 5/Page 27), 'Maelan Magazine' (The Gold Alter Egos Issue,
